The Fascinating Life of a Music Copyist

In February 2008, while eagerly anticipating the première of my Concerto for Theremin and Chamber Orchestra by Scott Paulson and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, I wrote a series of posts about the process of getting the score and parts ready to submit to the performers. A reader requested that I make them easily accessible from a single page, so here are links to each installment, with back story, explanations and/or witty commentary!

Note: Music copying is one of the things I do for a living. If you need a music copyist, or you know someone who does, contact me! I do arranging, transcribing, proofreading editing… anything that involves putting notes on paper a computer screen. :)
