Today is a big day! I’m playing in 2 pieces on New Music Detroit’s 12-hour marathon concert, “Strange Beautiful Music.” It starts at 2, so I have to get a move on…

I just sat down at the piano this morning and started playing something that felt good under the hands. It’s pretty simple and easygoing, and I don’t have many words to say about it at the moment. Just a little musical meditation for the day.

Now I need to go transform myself into a metronome… come back tomorrow, I’ll explain… 😉
